Publication of an overview of geology-relevant data

Geology-relevant data and information are those that are necessary for dealing with issues of the earth sciences. However, it is not always known which purposes the data serve and where they can be obtained.

In order to facilitate the access to all available geology-relevant data of Switzerland and to increase their economic value, the Swiss Geological Survey published an overview of these data in the form of a book. This publication should also promote coordination among the various specialist departments. In addition, it should serve to clarify which missing data can be produced and at what cost.
